Kat, the founder of House of Joka, was inspired by her mother's love for fashion. Because of this, Kat has always been passionate about unique and stylish clothing.

Growing up in New York within a family of Colombian immigrants immersed Kat in the fashion world at an early age. This immersion in fashion has equipped Kat with a rich background in fashion which prompted her to own her very own boutique in New York.

Kat brought her love of fashion with her after moving to the West Coast a few years ago which is where House of Joka came to life.

The name House of Joka was derived from a combination of Kat and her husband Jorge's name. The name represents "gift from God", reflecting Kat's deep faith and the blessings of her marriage. House of Joka is all about quality, uniqueness, and making women feel amazing.
